Germany X Reader ~Adoption: Chapter 10~

Staring at the man in front of you with confused and shocked eyes, you felt your hand being squeezed softly as your brain started trying to process that.  There was no way you could be in that picture...  That was probably made hundreds of years ago back in the renaissance period.

You were definitely not born in that time!  Letting go of Ludwigs hand, you walked further down to see you with the large German in multiple paintings, but one...  One caught your attention.  You were in a field in this painting...  Laying in the swaying grass it looked with ... wings..  One looked pure white like snow, feathery while the other looked black as a raven's wing, but still soft looking.  Looking over to the man, Ludwig, in the picture, you’re (e/c) eyes widened seeing he had black wings with horns on his blond head with a tail showing to the side.  He was under a tree in the shade.

Reaching your hand out, you gently touched the wings that were painted on your back in the picture.  As soon as your fingertips brushed over the soft looking wings, brief pictures flashed in your brain, making you wobble slightly from the suddenness.  

Pictures of people you’ve never met before appeared in your head,  of a dark and deserted place that made your skin feel like it was on fire, then another that was of a bright and beautiful place which made your heart warm.  

Feeling someones hand on your shoulder, you looked up and expected to see Ludwig.  Which you did, but he looked different…  He had large black horns that looks like a rams placed upon his head, his gorgeous blue eyes were rimmed with purple, and he had large black jagged looking wings.  They were larger than his body and folded against his back neatly, but they also looked like they had a tint of red in them.  

Gulping, you were frightened.  His appearance was so menacing that it made you shake with fear.  

“(Name)?”  He said in his soothing voice full of concern.  Though you knew he wouldn’t hurt you, what you were seeing right now… was too much.  When he reached out again to you, you whimpered and slapped his hand away before running away, down the hallway.  Not knowing where you were going, you just knew that you shouldn’t be near him…  Half of you was telling you to run as fast as you could while the other half was telling you to just stay, that he wouldn’t hurt you.

You didn’t know which to listen to, so running was the best option in your mind.  Looking over your shoulder, you gasped seeing he was right behind you.  Panic ran through your body as you felt something deep inside you trigger from it.

When he grabbed your shoulder, you froze and a burst of blindingly bright light sprang from your body, radiating from you and traveling through the entire house.  Almost like a strobe light that didn’t pause in between flashes.  It hurt your eyes honestly, but as soon as the light faded, and you could see right again, you looked around in shock to see the house had changed.

Where there were lights before, there were now candles.  Looking up, you blinks seeing that the big electric chandelier was now lit up with small candles, making the objects around you illuminate softly.  

Gulping, you tried to calm your breathing as you looked for any signs of the tall German man that had been chasing you.

He wasn’t there…  Slowly walking down the hallway where you’d just ran for your life from, you saw the pictures on the wall once more and blinked seeing that some of them weren’t there… The one where you were laying in the field with Ludwig was as well as one more where it was a close up on the two of you looking happy…  but the rest of the wall was barren.

Hearing someone coming down the large stairs behind you, your heart jumped in your chest as you quickly looked around for somewhere to hide.  Finding a closet under the stairs, you opened it quietly and quietly shut it just as you heard the last footstep reach the bottom of the stairs.  

Biting your lip as you heard the footsteps walk closer and closer to your hiding place, you looked at the door through the darkness and squeezed your eyes shut as you heard the steps stop in front of the door.  

Suddenly you felt the door swing open and your arms went to your head for protection, feeling like one of those girls in a horror movie.

“(Name)?”  A deep, and gentle german voice said sounding confused.  Feeling your heart flutter, you gulped as you knew that voice from anywhere…  It was your Vatis voice…  Did you really want to look up?  You’d just ran from him like he was going to murder you…  

Just then, tears pricked at the corners of your eyes and you sniffled.  You were an idiot…  Your Vati would never hurt you… even if he was some kind of weird demon or other creature.  He’d never hurt you…  You were just so shocked to see him like that after seeing those pictures in your head…

Slowly as ever, you looked up from behind your arms to see Ludwig standing over you with a candle in his hand, a concerned look on his handsome face.  No wings or horns…  HIs eyes were normal…

Feeling relief rush through you, you stood up quickly and wrapped your arms around his neck, practically jumping on him.  Shaking softly, you sniffled.  “I-i’m sorry…  I didn’t mean… mean too-”  “Whoa, liebe vhat are you talking about?  Vhy are you sorry?”  He asked even more concerned and confused.  

Feeling him setting the candle down, you held onto him tighter when you felt his other arm wrap around you, embracing you with his warm touch.  

After calming down, you looked up to him with watery eyes and saw his eyes widen from seeing you like that.  He sighed softly and smiled gently to you, making your chest warm up almost instantly.  

Bringing his large hand to your face you leaned into it, letting your (e/c) eyes close when he cupped your cheek before he wiped your eyes softly so no tears could escape.  “Vhy are you crying mein liebe…  Did you get hurt vhile going out und playing in ze voods?”

Opening your eyes to see his blue ones, you blushed softly as he set his forehead upon your own.  Playing in the woods?  “what are you talking about?  I wasn’t playing in the woods, I was running from you only a little bit ago…”  You said with your voice full of confusion.   “And what happened to the lights?  When did all these candles get here?”

Now it was Ludwigs turn to look confused.  “Lights?  These are our light (Name)...  You must have had a long day…  come on, lets get to bed ja?  I don’t van’t to vake up mein Urheber (Father/Creator) und hear his bitching.”  Hearing him curse, you blinked actually shocked.  He never cursed…

Gasping when you were picked up into his large muscular arms easily, you wrapped your arms around his neck tightly so you wouldn't fall, feeling like you would any second even though you knew he had a good hold on you.

“Lets go to bed, do you have any idea how late it is?  It’s nearly dawn.”  He scolded softly as he started walking upstairs.  

Even if you were confused beyond imagination he has time to scold you…  Though he did you couldn’t help but smile and snuggle into his side, glad that he was like this.  

Taking in the scenery of the house as you passed multiple doors and hallways, you couldn’t help but find the place amazing…  You felt like you knew this house in and out yet you knew you’ve never been here…  Right?

Getting to a large door, you blinked when it opened by itself and clung onto Ludwig tighter.  “Uhm…  How’d it do that…?”  You asked in wonder.  He just looked to you and laughed a little.  “you know as well as I do.  You know Demons have the power to do this.  You’re already half asleep aren’t you?”  

Demons…  Eyes widening you looked up to him.  He was a demon?  

Being set on the large bed, you blinked when the doors shut to the room and looked around.   The large bed was first seen when one would walk into the room, facing left of that was a beautiful old time looking fireplace that was in the middle of the wall with pictures and different items hung on the wall.  To the right wall, there was a large arch where blankets were over it like a makeshift door.  Looking out past that was a balcony that looked over the ongoing green land and forest that was starting to glow from the rising sun.

“This is amazing…  When did the la-”  You were cut off as you saw Ludwig starting to strip and covered your eyes as a dark blush appeared on your face.  How could he just strip like that when you were there!!  

Stopping your thoughts though when you felt someting on your left hand, you removed your hands from your face only to gasp when you saw a beautiful (f/c) dimond ring on your left hand.  “What….”  You looked up to the now almost stripped German.  when he caught your gaze, he smirked softly and walked over to you with only loose bottoms on.  

Taking your left hand, he kissed the ring on your hand before gently cupping your cheek with his free hand and kissing your forehead down to your cheek.  Face red as ever by this point, you looked up to him with wide eyes.  

He chuckled and kissed your nose.  “If you keep looking like an innocent little rabbit i’ll have to play the predator and eat you up mein wife~”  The deep and sexy voice of his made shivers run through you before you were left in shock as he kissed your lips with his soft yet hard ones.  It was a kiss filled with love and affection.  Frankly it left you breathless when he pulled away.

Panting softly, you looked to him with glazed eyes, your thinking process stopped as it was only filled with him and his amazing kissing techniques.  Ludwig smiled at your expression and stood up.  ‘come on, get your night clothes on and we’ll get some sleep before we have to get up.”

Nodding a little, you got up and just stood there.  He laughed and showed you the way to your clothes which were in a makeshift dresser.  Searching, you found a long night gown and went behind a door type thing that hid you before undressing and pulling on the night gown.  It was only then that you realized your outfit had been changed into something from the 1400’s… you were wearing a loose dress but it was a nice one…  When’d you change?

Suddenly it somehow clicked within your brain.  Walking out in the long sleeved frilly dress, you looked up to Ludwig who was under the covers already and holding the blankets up for you to crawl in with him.  

Walking over to him, you crawled in and snuggled up against his chest, not able to help but smile from his warmth.  Shaking your head, you looked up to him.  “What time period are we in?...”  You said quietly, almost hesitantly.  

Hearing him chuckle again, you blushed but kept your gaze on him.  “This is the 1400’s leibe.  It’s hard to imagine but it is…  It’s been zat vay for more zen four years now…  Vhere does the time go huh?”  He said and wrapped his arms around you and closed his eyes.  “Go to sleep~.”  He cooed gently.

Gulping, you looked at his chest, eyes wide open.  The 1400’s…  then… Did that flash of light …  That came from you didn’t it… Did it send you back in time??  Where was the Ludwig you knew?  The Ludwig who was your ‘Vati’, not your ‘husband’...  At that thought you blushed deeper though.  Not really disliking that idea…

Sighing, you shook your head.  You’d figure it out in the morning…  You were tired after all…  Yawning softly you curled more into Ludwig and let your eyes flutter shut.  You’d figure this odd situation out…  Right?
