America x Superhero!Reader ~Prize: Heroic Love~

It started in high school when you suddenly had gotten these, powers.  The power of super strength, speed, telekinesis (where you can pick objects up with your mind), and even the power to fly.  You didn’t know what they were nor where they had come from, but you didn’t want to waste them.  Especially since your boyfriend was the most superhero freak in the world and would yell at you if you didn’t use them!  But you didn’t want Alfred to know since you didn’t know how he’d react.

You and your loud boyfriend had been a thing since around 9th grade in High school and you two were still strong in your relationship five years later.  It bloomed from that cute high school romance into that loving marriage coming kind.  

Most people thought him rude, loud and very annoying.  Especially how he ate.  Of course, you thought his eating habits were bad, but his cute stuffed face was just the most adorable thing to you~!  His way of speaking, especially his southern accent.  His posture, his snuggly self, the way he was scared of horror movies and held you like he was gonna die…  It was adorable~!!  His frightened face made you almost squeal with joy from the cuteness.  Now you weren’t a sadist like your friend Ludwig but it was just cute.

The two of you got along in almost every aspect…  When it came to video games though…  That noob was going down!!!!!!  He couldn’t even-  Ehem…  He was okay at video games.

And this is where the story really starts.

You and Alfred were having another game fight through COD and you were beating his arse!!!  You hummed as you were 70 for 3, he was 69 for 6.  You were totally winning.  That is till your pager went off causing you to groan in annoyance.  When your pager went off that was sign that you were needed to beat up some evil dude.

“Alfie I gota go hun, the hospital is calling.”  You said sadly as you stood, your loose cargo pants and black tank top moved on your body comfortably.  Your (h/c) hair, which you’d put into a hat whilst you played, had come free when you removed the hat to kiss Alfreds cheek gently.  YOu two were in your apartment together.

Alfred paused the game and looked up to you with his sky blue orbs shining sadly.  His signature puppy dog pout coming on full blast.  It always worked on you, Always!  

Looking away from that adorable face of his you shook your head.  “Come on man…  Don’t gimme that cuteness, I need to go.  Am I leaving without one of your hugs of good luck or are you going to get up for me~?”  You said smiling gently to him when he instantly bolted up before you could finish the sentence.  

Giggling as he picked you up in his strong arms, you snuggled into him contently, sighing as you squeezed him back, not with your full strength obviously but enough that would seem normal.

Since High school you’ve gotten the hand on controlling your powers so that you seemed like a normal human like everyone else, and you’ve even had Alfred open things for you when you were too ‘weak’ to do so.  It was cute how he lit up when he could help you.  

And the hospital thing?  You ‘were’ a nurse at the hospital, but you only worked like two or three days during the week, and that was scheduled.  Every time you went out, you’d have to lie to Alfred…  And it did hurt but it was better than him knowing and that high chance of him leaving you…  Or those thugs hurting him…

Rushing when you’d received another page, you waved your boyfriend bye before putting your boots on quickly and grabbed your backpack before rushing out.  You sent a thing to tell them you were on the way, and looked to the address, seeing that it was a couple blocks away, you groaned as you went into an ally.

How’d you get a pager from the town?  Well you see, when you were in your senior year, you had been taking care of evil people for a long three years and when a threat on the mayor of the city was made, you went undercover for the first time and saved him, he made you the official city super heroine~  They gave you all kinds of yummy food so how could you say no?  

Having your bag with you, you pulled out your blue mask that was ripped with white sparkles, having your american flag necklace on that you always wore -which Alfred happily bought you- you used your super speed to do a quick strip down and re-dressing into an outfit you had your Japanese friend make for you since you were horrid at sewing.

It was the American colors, red white and blue.  You made your whole disguise in a way that Alfred would love it.  You wore a pair of denim shorts that were light blue with red stones on it, with a white tank top that proudly shown the american flag.  Letting your (h/l)(h/c) hair flow freely, you hid your bag behind the dumpster before rushing to the scene.  

It was a robbery at the bank, and they had guns.  Getting to the whole thing, you gasped seeing they had hostages.  Women and children is what they were using.  Rage built up inside you as you saw this, your moral code was about the same to Alfreds with the hero thing, and you used telekinesis to rip their guns away before running to them and decking them in their faces.  There were 4 men there with a small police force around you.

The hostages were successfully freed and you glared to the men.  “You all are a bunch of lame idiots!”  You yelled annoyed.  Not realizing that a certain pair of blue orbs were glued to you.  “How could you stoop so low as to-”  before you could finish your yelling, they rushed you.  

Huffing, you flew above them and kicked the ones head so that it would bounce of the other three’s.  Grabbing two by the collars, you lifted them up into the air and spun as fast as you could before getting lower to the ground and dropping them onto the other two that were standing there amazed.  

Landing back onto the ground you huffed setting your hands upon your hips before giving them a lecture as they were taken into the police cars and shipped off to jail.  

Hearing the crowd behind you cheer, you blinked as you looked behind you and smiled a little, but that instantly faltered when you saw Alfred standing there with a stunned look on his face.  With your (e/c) eyes widening, you saw him start coming towards you.  Before he could, you flew up and away to that ally, grabbing your backpack, you flew to a park that you usually went to when you and Alfred would get into fights…  Which was just over little things but still.

And like usual, which you should have thought of, he came there first.  You had changed back into your baggy pants and tank with your hat on your head.  Sitting in a large oak tree, you sniffled softly as you wiped your eyes.  Thinking about how it was over.  Alfred would be so mad at you for keeping something like this from him, he’d be so saddened, so-

“(Name)?”  You heard a gentle voice below you speak up, interrupting your thoughts.  Blinking back some tears you looked down and saw your sweet Alfred climbing up the tree with ease.  When he sat in front of you, you looked away, scared of what he’d say.  

“(Name)  Why didn’t you tell me?”  He said, making you bite your lip.  “I…  I didn’t want you thinking I was some sort of freak and leave m-”  “WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT MAN?!”  He yelled, making you wince but instantly gasp as he pulled you into his arms and snuggled you as you were in his lap.  “I totally think it’s cool…  Like… having a superhero girlfriend is awesome~”

You blinked.  “what??”  He grinned down to you and tipped your chin up with his thumb and pointer finger, making you blush as he looked very hot.  “You know how much I love superheros~  And you’re right up there on the list with ‘em~  But … You’re a superhero and my girlfriend… so you’re like… at the top man~”  He grinned and kissed you gently, making you blush.  

When he finally leaned back, you were smiling idiotically just as he was.  You really should have thought of that…  He was a chill man… and you told him everything about you, and vis versa, so why wouldn’t he accept you as a superhero when he loved them bunches.  Shaking your head at how dumb you were, your hugged him tightly, with your full strength, making him choke a bit.

He patted your back for air.  “(N-name), can’t… can’t breath…”  Just hearing him say that made you laugh and lighten up.  “Sorry hun~”  You said sweetly before kissing his cheek.  “I don’t know my own strength’.”  You said grinning to him as you referred to what he usually said.

Rolling his beautiful eyes, you smiled, but then pouted when he asked.  “So how’d this happen?”  You shrugged.  “Know idea… but i’ll let you be my side kick if you want.”  He made a face like ‘really?’ but smiled and nodded.  “I still get the girl in the end right?”  Giggling, you nodded.  “Of course.”
