Germany X Reader ~Adoption: chapter8~

You were blushing as Ludwig leaned down and started the shower for you.  Though he was acting like it was nothing and all, you couldn’t help but feel a little nervous.  You’ve not gotten a bath, or shower, with him in the same room for almost three years now and your bodies changed quite a lot in that time.

Just as you were about to say something, your Vati finally let go of you and smiled that soft smile that always made you feel loved.  He kissed your (h/c) head before letting you go and closing the toilet lid before sitting.  

Still being fully clothed, you looked to him to see if he’d make any notion that he’d look away while you changed.  Gulping, you faced the shower as you stripped off his blood stained shirt, a slight shiver making it’s way up your spine as the warmth and smell of him left you.  You tossed that on the floor and glanced over your shoulder to see he’d looked away and was blushing.  

Smiling to yourself, you finished stripping and hopped into the warm water.  Sighing softly as you closed your eyes while your muscles relaxed themselves.

Threw everything that just happened, you couldn’t help but feel happy.  Your Vati…Your Ludwig -jeeze blushing from just saying his name in my mind…-  saved you… and staid with you while you slept… and was even sitting in the bathroom while you took a shower so you wouldn’t feel lonely.  You knew that if he were to leave the room, you’d start having a panic attack so you were glad he listened to your selfish request.

After a couple minutes, you finally sighed softly as you felt all your muscles had relaxed and started washing your hair and body.  unknowing of what Ludwig was doing and just happy to have him there.

~Luds P.O.V~

It was surprisingly hard to not stare at you while you were in the shower.  He felt horrible for how he was acting on the inside.  He didn’t look at you while you changed because he didn’t want you to feel scared.  You’d just went through something very emotionally stressing and physically.

When he heard the shower curtain shut, he looked back to see you just standing under the water, your (h/c)  hair veiling over the side of your face so he couldn’t see you.

He couldn’t exactly see you perfectly anyways due to the curtain, but the thing was see through.  It was a soft pink color that made your body seem rosey.  He blushed as he found himself staring at you.  

Scolding himself, Lud sighed and held his head.  How could he feel that way for you… you were his daughter….  Adopted yes, but daughter none the less…  He was a pervert… horrible.. he…

He was staring again!  Damnit!  

Getting up, he reached for the door when he heard the curtain instantly be pushed back.  Looking over his shoulder, he saw you staring at him with your wide (e/c) orbs.  Fear and worry in them.  He knew it was because he was about to leave.  

“Sorry liebe…  I’ll stay..”  That smile that you gave him… it was so adorable and sweet… His body moved on his own and he walked over to you, gently cupping your cheek in his hand.  Seeing the blush on your cheeks from his actions, Lud leaned down and kissed your lips.

~Back to your P.O.V!!~

Your heart jumped out of your chest as you heard the door handle rattle.  Looking threw the curtain you saw you Dad about to leave.  Instantly, you opened the curtain and looked to him pleadingly.  He couldn’t leave.. if he left, you’d not know what to do…

Seeing him come over, you blushed as he set his large hand on your cheek, instantly leaning against it from the comfort it gave you.  You’d closed your eyes with a smile so when you felt something soft on your lips, your eyelids shot open only to slowly flutter shut again.  

He was kissing you...  He was actually kissing you..  Your Vati...  The fact that he was your Vati made you blush darkly.  This should really feel bad...  and feel wrong...  But it felt so sweet, and so nice that you couldn’t help but shiver.  

Lud must have felt that shiver since he wrapped his large and comforting arms around your smaller form gently.  The feel of his bare chest against your’s caused a shot of... something.. to run through you.

Needing air, he broke the kiss, leaving you panting as you held onto him.  Looking down to his chest as your own chest felt warm and tingly.  feeling rather giddy, you were blushing brighter than usual as you looked up to the German man holding you.  He was just as red, making his blue eyes pop, much like your (e/c) ones.

The two of you just stared at each other for a while before he finally broke the silence.  “I....  I’m so sorry ....”  he said shakily, making your chest tighten as you looked up to him with wide eyes.  

He was sorry?  Why was he sorry?  That was the first kiss of your life and it was so ... it felt so magical ...  

Then the realization hit you.  You’ve just kissed your adoptive Father... He must be feeling awkward and weird...  Pulling away from him, you hid yourself behind the curtain and started washing yourself once more.  “C-can...  you stay in here still...  Please?”  

Hearing a sigh, then the toilet moving, you looked through the curtain to find Ludwig had sat down again.  Smiling a bit, you felt tears in your eyes when you saw him hold his head in his palms.  Knowing he was bashing himself for doing that.  You didn’t blame him.  You knew how he was feeling...  What he was thinking...  You knew everything about him...

So knowing what he was thinking, you decided to not let these new feelings get to you...  You’d stop whatever they were before they happened, and blossomed into something more.

when you got out next, he was looking away, blushing brightly.  You smiled a little, forcing it, and ruffled his hair.  “Come on Vati...  I’m your daughter, this shouldn’t be weird~’’  Getting dressed, you wrapped your arms around yourself before running to your room and wrapping yourself up in the unfamiliar blankets.  

You’d get over this... you would....  Right?

~timeskip to 18~

Since that decision, you had looked around and dated people, searching for someone to make you feel complete, to make you feel what Ludwig had made you feel at that time.  But to no avail, you couldn’t find anyone to live up to that standard.

When someone would hold you, you didn’t feel anything for them...  The kisses, the cuddles...  Nothing.  

Honestly, you felt like a hallow piece of wood that was left to rot in the water...  Your heart didn’t jump, nor did your chest warm.  It only did that when you were near Luddy.

You’d moved back into your original room, and not once in those twwo years have you went to his room to sleep.  The night mares had come back because of it, but it was better than having him not talk to you.  

The only time you two would be at home and in the save room was when he would cook and you, Gil and him would eat together.  Mostly, it was you and Uncle Gil talking while Lud sat there, or Gil teasing Lud while you watched.  Whenever you two were alone, you would stay in your room, even if he’d call you down for something.

It was another normal day, you were in your room reading some random book you grabbed from the shelf when you heard a pounding on the door  Gulping, your looked at it.  The nightmares making you feel too terrified to open it.  

“Y-yeah?”  You asked quietly, but instantly jumped, screaming as someone burst through the door.  With a racing heart, you uncovered your eyes ,which you’d covered, to see Ludwig was standing in the doorway, looking ever so menacing.  

A shiver ran up your spine as you saw blood on him.  The blood was coming from his shoulder that looked to be shot.  With worried eyes, you went to get up, only to have him come at you and tackle you onto the bed.  The smell of blood too much for you to handle, and his glowing eyes barring into you, you couldn’t help but pass out.
